In this example, a linear motor is utilized for its variable positioning capability to smoothly and precisely pinch tubing. Our UC stepping motor can be ordered with on-board electronics built in to the motor's connector housing. This system only requires 3 wires to power and control its position. Our Saia DC Stepper motor provides excellent proportional control and supplies constant force over the entire stroke. Applications that use a pinch function with a Saia stepper or synchronous motor include: |
